Okra/ Bhindi/Lady’s Finger Pieces ( Chopped ) - 1 lb
Chopped Garlic - 3 cloves
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chopped Onions - a ha
Besan / Bengal Gram Flour - 1 tsp
Yogurt/ Curd - 2 Cups
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp
Hing - 1/8 tsp
To Temper
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli - 2
Curry Leaves - few
Method
Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the okra okra pieces until gets crispy and keep aside.
In the same add the tempering ingredients and sauté it for few seconds. Then add onions and fry for a minute.
Add fried okra with Chilli and coriander powder. Let it sauté for 3 minutes. Then switch of the flame.
In a bowl add yogurt and besan whisk and add into okra curry.
Okra bhindi is ready to serve with white rice.
