Today I made this yummy cashew chicken fry. This taste is heavenly. Curry Leaves gave nice aroma to this dish. When you are eating chicken with crunchy cashew gives amazing taste. Try this chicken and Stay healthy!!!
Ingredients
Boneless Chicken ( Washed & Chopped ) - 1 lb.
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
Sliced Onions - 1 ( big)
Chopped Tomato - 1
Cashew Nuts - 1/4 Cup
Finely Chopped Mint Leaves - a handful
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves - a handful
Chilli Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Yogurt/ Curd - 1/2 Cup
Oil - 3 tsp
Ghee 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - a handful
Dry Red Chilli - 3
Salt to taste
For Paste
Milk - 3 tsp
Cashew Nuts - 10
Method
To Marinate
In a mixing bowl, add chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, ghee and yogurt then mix well. Let it marinate for 1 hour.
In a kadai add the marinated chicken pieces and close lid then cook it until gets soft. If needed add little water and cook the chicken completely.
In a small bowl add chilli garlic paste with yogurt and mix well.
In a pan, heat oil add cashew nuts, dry red chilli, curry leaves and onions fry for few seconds.
Add the chilli yogurt paste and cooked chicken pieces then mix well. Close the lid and cook it for another 5 minutes on low flame. Switch off the flame and serve hot with biryani, fried rice or ghee rice.
