It’s a tasty chicken fry recipe, which is loved by us. We can fry chicken in many ways. This time I just tried this method. It’s really a spicy one. As per your taste, you can reduce or increase your spices.

In this method, chicken is marinated with the below ingredients. I kept it for 4 hours. At least it should be an hour. Then the legs coated with bread crumbs and fried in oil.

This goes well with any steamed rice/ kulambu rice/ fried rice/ briyani/ vaiety rice/ curd rice/ roti…

I hope this would the best starter…I hope you will definitely happy with this crispy fry with or without your meal J

Ingredients

Chicken Legs – 10
Eggs – 2 (beaten)
Soya Sauce – 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Saffron (or) food color – a pinch
Corn Flour – 2 tsp
Curd – ½ cup
Vinegar – ½ tsp
Lemon - 1
Oil

Method

Wash and clean the chicken. And use a standard, sharp kitchen knife make 3 to 4 slice through joint where the thigh. Don’t cut into pieces. It helps to absorb the spices.

In a big bowl, add soya sauce, beaten eggs, salt, pepper powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger & garlic paste, saffron or food colour, corn flour, curd, lemon juice, and vinegar.

Then mix it well. Now marinate this mix with chicken leg pieces. And keep this mix for about an hour.

Once it done, take the chicken legs and finally dips into bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a kadai on a low medium flame, when hot drop in the marinated chicken legs to the kadai.

The oil should not be too hot otherwise the outside gets browned before the inside gets cooked again.

When the chicken gets golden brown colour, switch off the flame and place it on a paper towel, so that the excess oil is drained out.
