Tomato Gotsu

It’s a quick recipe. This is favorite for all of us in my family. Normally if I don’t have any side dish for chapatti, I used to prepare this dish. This also goes well with idly and dosa. I’m sure it wont take too much of time. I hope it’s another simple and easy dish.
Ingredients
Sliced Onions – 3 (Big)
Sliced Tomato – 3 (Big)
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Sliced Green Chilli – 4
Coriander Leaves – few
Fennel Seeds Powder – 1 tsp
Chopped Capsicum – 1 cup
Salt to taste
(To Temper)
Fennel Seeds – ½ tsp
Cinnamon – 2
Cardamom – 2
Bay Leaf – 1
Curry Leaves - few
Oil - 2 tsp
Method
In a pan, heat oil saute with fennel seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf and curry leaves.

Now add green chilli, capsicum, ginger garlic paste and sliced onions and fry well till it becomes mushy.

Then add sliced tomato and keep cook on a low flame for about 5 min.

Now add chilli powder, fennel powder, and coriander powder, salt and mix it well.

Now add 1 cup of water and keep cook for another 10 minutes on a low flame.

Switch off the flame and transfer into serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves.
