This
is simple and easy dish. It requires minimum ingredients only. It’s a
combination of rice, roasted gram, coconut. Any fries go well with this rice
like potato fry, chicken fry, etc. Happy Cooking :)

Cooked
Rice – 1 Cup
Garam
Masala – a pinch
Grated
Coconut – ¼ Cup
Salt
to taste
For Dry Roast
Roasted
Gram – 3 tsp
Cumin
Seeds – ½ tbsp
To Temper
Ghee
– 3 tsp
Mustard
Seeds – ½ tbsp
Hing
– a pinch
Dry
Red Chilli – 2
Peppercorn
– ½ tbsp
Roasted
Gram – 1 tsp
Curry
Leaves – a sprig
Chopped
Mint Leaves – few
To Garnish
Roasted
Nuts –a handful
Method
Heat
a pan, add the ingredients which are under for dry roast. Let it fry for few
minutes and cool down completely. Then grind it as fine powder and keep aside.
In a
pan, heat ghee. Add the tempering ingredients and saute it for few seconds.
Add
grated coconut and fry well. Then add the cooked rice, garam masala and the
ground masala (roasted gram & cumin seeds). Then mix well with a handful
roasted nuts. Switch off the flame and serve this hot yummy roasted gram rice.
