Pomegranate Sweet Poha with Dry fruits

This is a healthiest yummy treat for your tongue buds. It is a combination of flattened rice, grated coconut, dry fruits and pomegranate pearls. It gives amazing taste, when you are eating with handful dry fruits and pomegranate pearls. As per your taste, you can choose your favorite dry fruits. I preferred this as my breakfast with hot cocoa. You can also eat it as an evening snack.
Ingredients
Thin Flattened Rice/Poha – 1 Cup
Grated Coconut – ¼ cup
Dry Fruits – 3 tsp
Pomegranate Pearls – ¼ Cup
For Pomegranate Syrup
Pomegranate Juice – 3 tsp
Elachi/ Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
Jaggery - ½ Cup
Salt to taste
Water- 1/8 Cup
Method
Soak poha in water for about 5 to 10 minutes. Drain out the excess water and transfer it into clean bowl.
Bring little water (1/8 cup) to boil, add jaggery, cardamom powder with little salt. Let it boil for few minutes, then switch off the flame and add pomegranate juice, then stir it well.
Add this pomegranate syrup into poha bowl. Then add grated coconut, dry fruits and pomegranate pearls, mix well together.
Serve this yummy treat with hot chocolate/coffee.
