Turmeric Milk / Manjal Paal

I got severe cold and cough for couple of days. Then only I remembered as my childhood, whenever I suffered severe cough and throat pain my mom used to give this fabulous turmeric milk.  After took this I realized and felt somewhat good. 
Then I decided to post this recipe in my blog. Hopefully everyone get benefit from this one.


When we take home remedies for any diseases that’s good for our health and no need to worry about side effects.

Ingredients

Milk- 2 cups
Crushed Ginger - 1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder -1/4 tsp

Palm Sugar/ Panam Kalkandu – 2 tsp

Pepper Powder – ½ tsp

Method

In a pan, bring milk to boil. Then add palm sugar, turmeric powder, crushed ginger and pepper powder.

Give a nice mix. Let it boil. Once it done, then switch off the flame and filter it.

Serve warm. This would be fantastic drink.
