Bhuna Chicken Masala

Bhuna Chicken Masala is a simple chicken side dish. In this dish, chicken is marinated with some Indian spices and cook on slow flame.
 This goes very well with fried rice/ ghee rice/steamed rice/ roti/ naan/ chapatti…
Ingredients
Chicken – ½ kg
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Dry Red Chilly – 25
Yogurt – ½ cup
Garlic – 6 pods
Cinnamon Sticks – 5
Cardamom – 5
Cloves – 5
Salt to taste
Oil for fry
Chopped Coriander Leaves - few
Method
In a blender, add red chillies, garlic, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, salt with yogurt and make it as fine paste.

Wash and clean the chicken pieces and keep it aside. I used leg pieces to make this chicken masala.

In a medium sized bowl add the chicken pieces and marinate with chilli paste. Let it be for about an hour.

Then heat oil and add chicken pieces and fry well on low flame. Close the lid and keep cook on low flame.

It takes some time to cook the chicken completely. Once it done, then switch off the flame.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. This goes well with chapatti or rice.
