Egg/Mutta Bonda



It is a delicious Indian snack recipe. You can serve this as starter. It’s a spicy egg bonda which is very popular and available almost all street shops in South India.
This goes very well with mint chutney/kara chutney/ketchup...
Ingredients

Boiled Eggs – 6 (Cut into 4 pieces)

Besan/Gram Flour – 2 cups

Rice Flour – 5 tsp

Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp

Chilli Powder -2 tsp

Coriander Powder -1/2 tsp

Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp

Hing – ¼ tsp

Ajwain – ¼ tsp

Beaten Egg – 1

Pepper Powder – ½ tsp

Salt to taste

Oil for deep fry

Method

In a bowl, add besan, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, hing, ajwain, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.

Then add beaten egg, pepper powder with required water to make thick consistency batter. Then let it be for 30 minutes.

Take boiled egg slices, one by one and dip into besan batter then fry in oil.

Remove excess oil using paper towel and serve with tomato ketchup, mint chutney, chutney…
