Sprout Gravy


This is another simple and healthy dish. In this dish, sprout is cooked with other vegetables and Indian spices. As per your taste, you can add or reduce the spiciness. It’s very to prepare and would be great accomplishment with chapatti and roti. Enjoy your food!
Ingredients

Sprout – 1 Cup

Sliced Onion -1 (big)

Sliced Tomato – 1 (big)

Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp

Mixed Vegetables (Carrot, potato & Peas) – 1 Cup

Sliced Green Chilli – 2

Chilli Powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp

Salt to taste

Garam Masala – ½ tsp

Oil – 1 tsp

For Paste

Grated Coconut – ¼ Cup

Almond Pieces -7

Curry Leaves – 5 Leaves

To Temper

Ghee – 1 tsp

Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp

Curry Leaves – few

Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch

Clove – 3

Bay Leaf – 1

Method

Melt ghee in a pan, add the tempering ingredients one by one and saute it for few seconds.
Add a tsp of oil and heat it. Add the sliced onions, ginger garlic paste, sliced green chilli and salt then fry until it becomes translucent.

Add Chopped tomatoes and cook until it becomes mushy. Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder and required water, then cook for five minutes.
Add sprouts and mixed vegetables and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.

Then add garam masala and coconut paste, stir well. Let it be for another 5 minutes.
Once it done, switch off the flame and serve hot chapati/roti.
