Blue Crab Fry with Potato

Spicy Crab is always a good treat of seafood lovers. In this dish, crab is cooked with potato, amazing Indian spices and coconut milk. This yummy and tasty crab goes well with any meal plotter. Enjoy your spicy treat!

Ingredients
Washed & Cleaned Blue Crab Pieces – 1 lb.
Chopped Onions – 2 (Big)
Chopped Tomato – 2 (Big)
Chopped Potato – 1 (big)
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – 3 tsp
Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
Fennel Powder – ½ tsp
Freshly Ground Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chilli – 2
Salt to taste
Coconut Milk – ¼ Cup
Water as required
To Temper
Sesame Oil – 4 tsp
Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
Fresh Curry Leaves – a handful
Peppercorn – 1 tsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan, add the tempering ingredients one by one and saute it for few seconds. Add chopped onions with little salt and fry until it gets translucent. 

Add ginger garlic paste, tomato pieces and cook until it becomes mushy. Then add cleaned and washed crab pieces and fry in oil for 5 minutes.
Now add potato pieces, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and fennel powder then fry for 2 to3 minutes. Add required water and cook completely.

Then add coconut milk and mix well. Sprinkle more oil and roast it well. Once it done, switch off the flame and serve with hot steamed white rice.
