Green Peas Cutlet



It is a crisp outside, soft inside green pea’s cutlet snack. This stomach filling, mild spicy and crispy Indian cutlet tastes irresistibly delicious when served with assortment of spicy, sweet and sour dips/chutneys like green mint chutney, tomato ketchup and tamarind chutney… It is simple and very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
Green Peas – 1 ½ cups (Boiled & Mashed)
Mashed Potato – 1 cup (Boiled)
Chopped Onions – 1 cup
Finely Chopped Ginger – 5 tsp
Finely Chopped Curry Leaves – few
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – few
Rice Flour – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
Oil for deep fry
Finely Chopped Green Chilli – 2
Method
In a big bowl add mashed potato & green peas, salt, chopped onions, ginger, green chilli, chilli powder, cumin powder, rice flour, chopped coriander & curry leaves with 1 tsp of oil and mix it well.
Then make it as round shaped cutlet and deep fry in oil. Then remove the excess oil by using paper towel.
Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
