Mint Green Peas Sundal/புதினா பச்சை பட்டாணி சுண்டல்

It’s a healthy sundal and slightly differs from the normal one. Mint gives nice flavor and unique taste to this dish. It is healthy too and easy to make.
Here is a healthy and perfect evening time snack. Hope you can enjoy to have this sundal with tea/coffee.

Ingredients

Green Peas – 1 cup

Chopped Onions – 1 (big)

Salt to taste

(To Temper)

Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp

Dry Red Chilli – 2

Curry Leaves – few

Chopped Mint Leaves – handful

Method

Soak green peas through over night or at least 6 to 8 hours.

In a pressure cooker, pressure cook it with little salt until 3 to 5 whistles comes out. Then keep it aside.

In a pan, heat oil. Add the tempering ingredients one by one and saute it well.

Then add chopped onions and fry till slightly changes in color.

Finally add cooked green peas and mix it well.

Garnish with mint leaves. Then serve hot with tea or coffee.
