It is easy
and tasty chutney. This is another simple recipe. And it is delicious and rich
in taste.
This is one
of the best combos for all south Indian breakfast recipes.
This also
goes well with bread, chapatti, naan and paroto…
Ingredients
Green
Chilli – 4
Chopped
Onions – 1 (big)
Chopped
Tomato – 2 (big)
Boiled and
Mashed Potatoes – 1 cup
Salt to
taste
Pepper
Powder to taste
(To Temper)
Mustard
Seeds – ½ tsp
Urad Dal –
½ tsp
Cumin Seeds
– ½ tsp
Chopped
Coriander Leaves – few
Chopped
Curry Leaves – few
Sesame Oil
– 2 tsp
Method
In a
blender add green chilli, chopped tomatoes and onions and salt with required
water then make it as a coarse paste (rough paste).
In a pan,
heat sesame oil. Then add all the ingredients which are under “to temper”
and saute for few min.
Add the
mashed potatoes into the pan. Now add pepper powder and little bit salt.
Then add
the ground paste into it. Let it cook for few min. Garnish with chopped
coriander leaves.
Serve with
idli or dosa!!!
