It is very interesting and tasty chutney. As per your taste you can add crushed chilli
into this. I hope kids love this chutney than others.
This goes very well with idli and dosa. Try this easy chutney at least once in your life time.
Ingredients
Eggs – 2
Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
(To saute and grind)
Dry Red Chilli – 4
Chopped Onions – 1 cup
Chopped Tomatoes – 1 cup
Crushed Ginger and Garlic – 2 tsp
Channa Dal – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tsp
(To Temper)
Finely Chopped Onions – 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Chopped Curry Leaves – few
Chopped Coriander Leaves – few
Sesame Oil – 1 tsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan, then add all the ingredients one by one which
are under “to saute and grind” then saute it for few min. Then switch off the flame, let it cool down and grind it as paste.
In the same heat sesame oil and add all the ingredients which
are under “ to temper” and saute it for few seconds.
Then transfer the chutney into it. Add little tsp water, when
boiling then breaks the eggs and drop it into this.
Now add little bit salt and chilli flakes as per your taste.
Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
