Chilli Bread

It’s another simple, spicy snack. This is entirely different from the normal bread fritter. This goes very well with tomato ketchup/ranch. I have added the cashew paste.  
It gives rich taste to this snack. Enjoy this yummy chilli bread with chilled soft drinks.                                                                          
Ingredients:
Thin Sliced Bread – 4
Finely Chopped Ginger -1 tsp
Finely Chopped Garlic – 1tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Chilli Paste – 1 tsp
Cashew Paste – 1 tsp
All Purpose Flour/Maida –3 tsp
Rice Flour – 1tsp
Tomato Ketchup -2 tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1tsp
Sugar -1 tsp
Bread Crumbs - few
Ajinomoto -1 tsp (optional)
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Method
In a bowl add the ingredients with little salt and mix well.
Add the bread slices into the mix and roll it down in bread crumbs. The fry this well.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot. 
Serve this hot & Spicy chilli bread with ranch or tomato ketchup.

Strawberry Smoothie

Strawberry Smoothie is a yummy & delicious drink. It has rich in vitamin C and calcium, which is indeed a natural blusher for your glowing skin. Smoothies are best for breakfast as its filling and at the same time guilt free too. You can add in any seasonal fruit of your choice and blend it together for a tasty creamy smoothie. Your pink, girly milkshake is ready to enjoy! Garnish with strawberries if desired while you serve.
Ingredients
Strawberry – 1 cup
Sugar/Honey to taste
Milk – ¼ cup
Yogurt/Curd – 1 cup
Ice Cubes – few

Method
Chop the strawberries into bite sized pieces and blend it with milk to a smooth paste.
Then add sugar and yogurt and blend again till a creamy smoothie consistency is reached.
Pour into individual glasses and Serve.

Banana Milkshake

This is a quick, nutritious, filling and delicious milkshake with banana. It is also very simple to prepare and tastes heavenly. Try these easy summer drink to breeze you days. If you wish you can add any other fruits along with banana.

Ingredients

Cold Milk - 1 ½ Cup
Ripe banana - 1
Honey/Jaggery/Sugar – to taste
Vanilla Ice cream - a Scoop
Ice Cubes – few (optional)

Method

Peel the skin, chop and blend banana with 1/2 cup of milk to a smooth paste.
Then add the rest of the milk, honey, ice cream and blend again.
If you want you can add ice cubes while making banana milkshake.
Pour into a glass and serve chilled.
Garnish with chopped caramel chocolate.

Tofu Mattar Masala

Tofu Mattar Masala is a mild spicy North Indian dish. This look delicious slightly sweet and spicy North Indian saucy dish consisting of tofu and peas. This North Indian curry is made with mutter (peas).
This goes very well with Naan/Roti/Parota/Chapatti...
Ingredients
Chopped Tofu Pieces – 2 cup
Peas (fresh) – ½ cup
Cashew Nuts – 5 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Onions – 2 cup
Finely Chopped Tomato – 2
Chopped Green Chilli – 2
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder 2 tsp
Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves – few
Kasoori Methi Leaves (Dry) – 3 pinch
Fresh Cream – few
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tsp
(To Temper)
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Bay Leaf - 2
Cinnamon Sticks – 2
Butter – 1 tsp
Method
In a pan, heat oil. Add cashew nuts and fry for few min.
Add chopped onions with little salt and fry till this get slight brown in color.
Then add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and saute it for another few min.
Now add chopped tomato and fry till it becomes mushy.
Then let it cool this completely and grind it as fine paste.
In a kadai, heat butter. Add the tempering ingredients one by one and saute it for few sec.
Then add the ground paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder then give a nice mix.
Then add chopped green chilli, green peas (fresh) and let it cook for another 2 to 3 min.
Now add tofu pieces with little water and close the lid. Let it cook for another 5 min.
Finally add crushed dry kasoori methi leaves and mix well.
Once it done then add fresh cream and cook for another 2 to 3 min.
Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Then serve this yummy tofu mattar masala with roti, naan or chapatti.

Grape Juice

It is an easy & homemade grape juice. What an amazing color!!! And when you really feel thirsty, it is one of the tasty yummy treat to your lips & tongue. This is an easily digestible juice & best drinking in Summer.

Ingredients

Black Grapes – 2 cup
Lemon Juice- 4 tsp
Sugar to taste
Water as required
Ice Cubes – few

Method

Clean and wash the grapes and put it into a blender.
Grind it along with little water to a fine paste.
Strain through a metal strainer, add water for the juice to easily strain.
Remove the seeds and extract the juice in a glass. Squeeze lemon juice.
Add Sugar and stir well until the sugar is dissolved completely.
Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

Cheese Ball

Cheese Ball is a healthy and tasty snack. Especially for kids, they like & love almost. This is a perfect evening time snack especially for winter or rainy season.
Cheese Balls are easily prepared adding some grated Parmesan cheese with the seasoned flour, micro waved for a minute to form dough. These are then rolled into desired shapes, nicely coated over with bread crumbs and deep fried until golden and crispy.
Ingredients
Bread Crumbs – 1 cup
Parmesan Cheese - 1 cup
Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Corn flour – 3 tsp
All Purpose Flour/Maida -1 cup
Oil for fry
Salt to taste
Baking Soda – a pinch
Water as required
Method
Take a bowl add flour, corn flour, salt, soda, chilli powder, bread crumbs mix with water make a thick batter now.
Add the Parmesan cheese and microwave for a minute and mix well.
Now take these mixtures make ball shapes, and roll in bread crumbs.
Then fry this till gets golden in color. Then Serve this crispy cheese ball.

Strawberry Milkshake

The yummy and tasty strawberry milkshake is made with fresh strawberries.
You can also add a drop of strawberry essence for extra flavor.
Instead of sugar you can add honey. Enjoy with yummy & healthy treat…
Ingredients
Strawberry – 15
Chilled Milk – 1 ½ cups
Sugar to taste
Ice Cubes – few
To Garnish
Finely Chopped Strawberry - 1
Method
Clean and was the strawberries and keep it aside.
Then chop the strawberries roughly.
Blend strawberries, sugar and ice cubes together to a coarse paste.
Then add milk and blend it till frothy and smooth.
And then transfer into serving glass. Add finely chopped strawberries.
 
Serve chilled with freshly cut strawberry slices.

Onion Ring

It’s a very simple, easy and quick recipe. This is one of my son’s favorite snack.
Once I went to American Restaurant(Buffalo Wings), I have tasted this yummy and crispy dish. We loved it. My son started to ask me when you are going to make in our home.
I planned to prepare long days back but missed so many times. Finally I made this tasty onion ring at my home. This goes well with tomato ketchup and ranch.
Ingredients
Bread Crumbs - 1 cup
Chilli Powder -1/2 tsp
Corn Flour – 3 tsp
Onion – 1 (big)
Maida/All Purpose Flour – 1 cup
Oil for deep fry
Salt to taste
Baking Soda – a pinch
Water as required
Method
Cut onions into rings and keep aside.
In a bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour, soda, salt; chilli powder, bread crumbs and mix with water a thick batter.
Now take onion rings coat with the dry flour and dip in the flour mixture.
And then coat with bread crumbs. Fry this till gets golden brown color.
Finally this crispy onion rings are ready to serve!

Chicken Manchurian Burger

Wow !!!what an amazing dish for chicken lovers. Why can't you try this unique recipe. Chicken Burger is very famous in American Cuisine. But that chicken should be slightly salted and spiced one.
That's why I tried this burger using Chicken Manchurian. Try this yummy, spicy and tasty Chicken Manchurian Burger.
Ingredients
Boneless Chicken pieces – ½ kg
Salt - to taste
Pepper - 3 tsp
Eggs - 2 no
All-purpose flour – 1 cup
Corn-starch – 1 cup
Oil as needed
Cashew nuts - 10 nos
Finely Chopped Garlic – 3 tsp
Finely Chopped Ginger – 3 tsp
Finely Chopped Onions - 2 (big)
Chopped Green chillies - 10 nos
MSG - pinch
Soya sauce - 2 tsp
Chilli paste - 2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup – 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Finely Chopped Spring Onions - 2 tbsp

Chopped Bell Peppers – 1
Chopped Capsicum (Red) – ¼ cup
Chopped Capsicum (Green) – ¼ cup
Chopped Coriander Leaves - few
(For Bread)
Bread Slices (Bun) - 4
Mozzarella Cheese - 1/2 cup
Ranch - 2 tsp
Mayonnaise Sauce -2 tsp
Chopped Capsicum - 1/2 cup
Sliced Carrot - 1
Sliced Cucumber - 1
Chopped Cilantro - few
Tomato Sauce - 2 tsp
Crushed Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 2 tsp
Method
In a bowl, add chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, little salt, pepper powder, broken egg and mix well. Let it be for 10 to 15 min.
In a plate, put all-purpose, corn starch, mix well and add the chicken pieces and coat well. Brush very little oil the chicken pieces.
In a kadai, heat oil. Add all chicken pieces and fry till the chicken cooked well and becomes tender.
In a pan, add very little oil, few cashew nuts and slightly saute to color them.
Add finely chopped garlic, ginger and saute. Add capsicum, bell pepper, chopped onions and fry till they are translucent.
Add little salt, green chillies, pepper powder, MSG, soya sauce, chilli paste, little water and mix. Add tomato ketchup and mix again.
Add the fried chicken pieces and coriander leaves, toss well. Garnish with some spring onions and serve hot.
 (For Chicken Manchurian Burger)
In a bread apply mayonnaise Sauce, crushed pepper, chopped capsicum and chicken manchurian pieces.
Then add carrot and cucumber slices. Spread mozzarella cheese and add tomato ketchup and ranch.
Then cook it in oven for about 1 min. Then serve hot and yummy chicken manchurian burger with ranch and sauce.

Bhakshaalu/ Bobbatlu/ Puran Poli/Holige

Bhakshaalu/ Bobbatlu/ Puran Poli/Holige are a popular Indian sweet dish usually had on popular festivals. It’s one of the famous sweet dishes for Ugadi. Hope you can enjoy with this yummy sweet.

Ingredients
Channadal – 1 cup
Fine Sooji (Coarse Powder) – 1/2 cup
All Purpose Flour/ Maida – 1 ½ cups
Salt to taste
Water as required
Oil – 1/4 Cup
Jaggery (crushed) – 1 ½ cups
Cardamom – 4
Ghee as required
Method
In a pan, dry roast channa dal for 2 to 3 min and soak it in water for at least 2 hours.
In a bowl add fine sooji, maida, salt, oil and water to make non sticky smooth and soft dough. Coat with 2 tsp of oil and rest covered for 30 min to an hour.
Then pressure cooks the dal, drain the water from dal and pressure cook with 1/2 cup of fresh water for 2 whistles.
And then immediately run the cooker under cold water to remove all the pressure quickly. Drain the excess water from dals.
Add cooked dal, jaggery, and cardamom to food processor/blender and blend to a paste without water. Set it covered. Make round shaped balls and keep them ready.
Take a small portion of dough. Spread the dough into 1 1/2 inch round circle on a parchment paper/Plastic Paper.
Stuff it with the jaggery dumpling and seal properly from all the sides. Flatten it a bit by greasing it with some oil and then roll into thin rotis.
Flip it gently on to the non stick pan and fry till golden brown on both sides. Use some ghee while frying. Serve immediately with ghee and milk.

Bachelor Egg Masala



It is a quick and easy egg masala recipe which can be easily prepared by anyone. I have used only few ingredients. Eggs are good source of high protein with many dietary benefits.

This goes very well with steamed white rice/jeera rice/ghee rice/pulao/roti/dosa/idli/curd rice…
Start your day with healthy egg masala dish and gives you and your family a nutritious start to the day!
Ingredients
Eggs – 4
Chopped Onions – 2 (big)
Chopped Tomato – 1 (big)
Dry Red Chilli – 6
Ginger Garlic Masala – 2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Chopped Coriander Leaves – few
Oil – 2 tsp
Method
In a vessel bring water to boil and add eggs with a tsp of oil once it done then remove the shells and keep it aside.
Heat 1 tsp of oil and add chillies, half of the chopped onions, tomato, coriander and turmeric.
Let it cool down and grind the mixture. And keep it aside.
In the same pan, heat remaining oil and add remaining chopped onions then saute it for few min.
Add ginger garlic paste, ground mixture, garam masala, salt to taste and bring it to boil.
Add the boiled eggs into masala and keep it closed for 5-7 minutes.
Add coriander leaves for garnish. Serve with hot steamed rice.

Baked Pasta



Baked Pasta is a great and delicious dish. In this method of preparing pasta, slightly sauteed the vegetables. That will give crunchy taste to this dish.
 Adding cheese will give more taste and kids definitely love this. 

Here is the recipe...
Ingredients
Pasta – 2 cups
Chopped Capsicum – 1 cup
Chopped Carrots – 1 cup
Chopped Broccoli – 1 cup
Sliced Onions – 3
Olive Oil – 2 tsp
Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
Mozarella Cheese – 1 cup
Oregano – 1 tsp
Garlic Powder – 1 tsp
Onion Powder – 1 tsp
Italian Seasoning – 1 tsp
Pasta Sauce – ½ cup
Tomato Sauce – 2 tsp
Method
Cook pasta in water along with little salt and olive oil. Drain water and Set the pasta aside.
In a kadai, heat olive oil. Add sliced onions and saute it for few min.
Then add chopped capsicum and fry it for few more min.
Add carrot and broccoli pieces and fry for few min.
Now add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, Italian seasoning and mix it well.
Then add cooked pasta with pasta sauce. Give a nice mix.
Preheat oven at 200 deg C for 10mins with wirerack inside the oven.
Now in an oven proof bowl - spread a layer of pasta with sauce, sprinkle some chilli flakes and oregano. Add little tomato sauce.
Now add half of grated cheese, the again a layer of pasta, sprinkle some more chilli flakes and oregano. Add little tomato sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese.
Then bake it for 25-30mins or until the cheese on top turns golden.
