Whiting Fish Fry | Kizhanga Meen Varuval

Simple, tasty and quick fish fry. In this dish, I have shallow fried fish pieces and sautéed with onions, chilli and coriander leaves. This gives nice flavor and taste to the dish. Enjoy well 😊 



Ingredients 

Whiting Fish  | Kizhanga Meen - 6 fish ( Washed & Cleaned) 

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp 

Chilli Powder - 1 tsp 

Garam Masala - 1 tsp 

Coriander Powder - 2 tsp 

Salt | உப்பு - little


Tamarind Water - 2 tbsp 

Oil - 2 tbsp 

Method 

Take a clean bowl, add spices (chilli powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder, garam masala ) along with salt, tamarind water and oil.

Mix well and make sure it doesn’t have any lumps. Let it marinate 1 to 2 hours. 

Heat oil in a pan. Add the fish fillets and fry both sides until gets cooked well and golden brown color.

Once we done, add sliced onions, green chilli and coriander leaves. Then sauté it well for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off the flame and serve hot.
