This is another interesting recipe. In this dish, dry roast horse gram and other ingredients and grind it as paste and then cooked with other ingredients.

Horse Gram | роХொро│்ро│ு рокро░ுрок்рокு - 1/3 Cup
Coriander Seeds | рооро▓்ро▓ி - 1 tbsp
Dry Red Chilli | ро╡ро░ рооிро│роХாроп் - 7
Grated Coconut | родேроЩ்роХாроп் родுро░ுро╡ро▓் - 1/4 Cup
Salt | роЙрок்рокு - little
Ingredients for Kuzhambu |
роХுро┤роо்рокுроХ்роХு родேро╡ைропாрой рокொро░ுроЯ்роХро│்
Sesame Oil | роиро▓்ро▓ெрог்рогெроп் - 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds | роХроЯுроХு - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves | роХро▒ிро╡ேрок்рокிро▓ை - few
Shallot | роиро▒ுроХ்роХிроп ро╡ெроЩ்роХாропроо் - 1 cup
Tamarind Water | рокுро│ிрод்родрог்рогீро░் - 1/2 cup
Rice Rinsing Water | роЕро░ிроЪி роХро┤ுро╡ிроп роиீро░் - 1 cup
Jaggery | ро╡ெро▓்ро▓роо் - 1 tsp
Salt | роЙрок் рокு - to taste
Cilantro | роХொрод்родрооро▓்ро▓ி роЗро▓ை - few
Method
Heat a pan, add horse gram and dry roast until raw smell goes well. Then keep it aside.
In the same pan, add coriander seeds, dry red chilli and grated coconut and dry roast well.
Once it cools down completely, then grind it as fine paste along with wate and keep aside.
Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
Add chopped onions along with little salt and fry for few minutes.
Then add the ground masala and saut├й it for 2 minutes.
Add tamarind water, rice rinsing water and boil it for 10 minutes.
Then add jaggery and mix well. Let it cook for another 2 minutes.
Once we get kuzhambu consistency, add chopped coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
Yummy and tasty arachuvitta kollu kuzhambu is ready to serve with hot steamed white rice.
