It is an easy, quick and simple recipe. It is mostly served in marriage occasions. I thought of preparing this sweet long days ago. Finally i prepared it on my b'day... You can use finely chopped pineapples.
If you are really bored with the regular kesari, then give a try for this pineapple kesaribath.
Enjoy!!!

Salt – a pinch
Pineapple Essence – 1
tsp

Method
In Kadai, heat a tbsp

it aside.
Add the rava and
roast for 4 to 5 minutes on medium heat. In a vessel, heat water (1 ½ cups)
with the food color and bring to boil.
Once rava is roasted,
add the boiling water and the pineapple puree carefully to it and mix well.
Mix well and cook
covered for 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame or until all the water is absorbed
and rava is cooked well.
Now add the sugar and

Add the pineapple essence and fried cashew nuts, dry grapes and cardamom and mix well. Then switch
