Homemade Milk Peda | Doodh Peda


Milk Peda or Doodh Pedas are one of the easiest and simplest sweets to be made. We can prepare this yummy sweet with minimal ingredients. We love it, hope you’ll definitely enjoy to have it.


Ingredients 

Milk - 1 liter 

Milk Powder - 3/4 Cup

(Cardamom + Sugar) Powder - 1/2 Cup

Grated Paneer (Cotton Cheese)  - 1 Cup

Salt  - a pinch 

Saffron Threads - little 

Rose Water - 1 tbsp 

Ghee - little

Method

Bring a liter of whole milk to boil in a wide saucepan.




Let it boils until the quantity of milk reduces half and thickness. Keep stirring, so that it does not stick to the bottom surface.




Keep stirring so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom surface.

Once the milk quantity reduces, add grated paneer and mix well.


Reduce the flame and gently mix it in.

Now add milk powder and rose water. Then mix it well.


Add (cardamom + sugar ) powder mix and make sure it dissolves completely.


Cook it on medium blame and stir it until gets thick and dry consistency.




Once the moisture is completely evaporated, turn off heat and keep it aside to cool the mixture completely.

Once it done, transfer it into a blender. Then grind it as nice and smooth consistency.


Grease your hands with little ghee, take a scoop of ground peda mixture in your hands.


Roll the mixture in to small balls. Using your fingers gently dab them into small peda.


Garnish it by sprinkling some kesar over it.

Enjoy your milk peda with hot cocoa.
