It’s a spicy and delicious dish and famous in Kerala cuisine. You can smell nice aroma. This
goes well with steamed rice, chapatti or parota. As per your taste you can
increase or decrease your spiciness.
Ingredients
Boiled Eggs – 4
Sliced Onions – 3 (big)
Chopped Tomatoes – 2
Finely Chopped Garlic – 5
Finely Chopped Ginger – 2 inch pieces
Chopped Green Chillies – 3
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard Seeds – ¼ tsp
Cumin Seeds – ¼ tsp
Curry Leaves – 1 spring
Chopped Coriander Leaves – few
Cinnamon sticks – 2
Oil – 2 tsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds
and cinnamon sticks then fry for a min.
Now add garlic, ginger, green chillies, salt and
sliced onions and fry until it becomes mushy.
Then add curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli
powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and mix it well.
Then add chopped tomatoes, close the lid and keep
cook for another 3 min on a medium flame.
If you need sprinkle some water, and add boiled eggs
in to this pan.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Keep fry for another
2 to 3 min on a low flame.
Switch off the flame and serve with hot steamed rice and
chapatti!!!
