Shrimp/Prawn – ½ kg (Peeled & Cleaned)
Chopped Onions – 2 (big)
Chopped Tomato – 1 (medium)
Sliced Green Chilli – 2
Chopped Potato/Aloo – 2 (big)
Chopped Coriander Leaves – a cup
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Fennel Powder – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
To Saute
Venkaya Vadagam – 1 tsp
Curry Leaf – a handful
Fennel Seeds - ½ tsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan. Add the ingredients which are given under by saute one by one.
Add chopped onions and saute well till it gets slight turn in color, then add
chopped tomatoes and keep cook till it becomes mushy.
Then add
cleaned shrimp and apply a tsp of oil. Let it fry for another 5 min. Now add potatoes,
salt, fennel powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and a cup of water.Then roast
it well with another tsp of oil, and chopped coriander leaves. Once it done,
serve with hot steamed rice.
